PowerSonic is all I use, never had any issues with them. But then again I take good care of them

great info Mike..and this answers most of my questions in my email I sent you. mine dropped all the way down to 6.1V so I am not sure it will recover. so, you live and learn. I have aa second one that is probably just as damaged. I will find out tomorrow when I recover it. so..question. Can I put these external DIY boxes and pair them with a solar panel to keep the batteries charged and run my Tactacam camera?
@herd360 Жыл бұрын
You can but you also need to incorporate a solar charge controller

Great info mike!! On the spartan ghost and go lives with the external power voltages readouts, with the amped outdoor battery will the external read 0.0 when the battery is used up and shuts down or how’s that work I’m in the market for a new external battery

Yes the bms will shut off the output

I know it depends on what settings you have your camera setup on, but at how many pictures do you recommend charging these batteries?

I honestly don't have a number. So many factors can affect battery life. I keep a bunch charged up and ready to go and when I go near my cams I swap in a fresh one

Some of my cams display a pretty accurate external power display, so for those, I go by the status report for Tactacam, which can not display external power and will always show 100% when connected to external. I swap those whenever I can.

Need help added a HME 12volt sol-pack to my Spartan go cam . Now the camera won’t power on seems dead .. any suggestions?
@herd360 Жыл бұрын
The hme pack puts out 12v. The Spartan GoCam is a 6v only camera. You camera is likely not any good now.
