Thanks! I had a look at your channel and I absolutely love the beech martens! We've had camera traps in this particular forest since 2017 and had never seen any before, until last Summer when one showed up. We do have pine martens and I've always wondered if they are the reason the beech martens tended to stay out of the forest. Polecats have been around since the beginning. Martens are my absolute favourite animals and as you do with your beech martens, I try to follow our pine martens. We now have a female, her son born in 2019, another male born to her in 2021 and I'm excited to find out (hopefully very soon) if our female has kits this year as well. The resident male pine marten disappeared a few years ago. Fingers crossed!
