The Trail Guard is 100% bolt on. The guard bolts directly to the frame using 1/4" steel and is constructed with 1.5" x .120" wall 4130 chromoly tubing. This is designed to be a true lower bumper skid guard and not some cheap plastic spoiler that only bolts to the bottom bumper. This is frame mounted meaning it's strong and durable and backed by Dirtcom’s warranty.
Installation is a breeze, you don't even have to remove the bumper for installation!

We are using high end materials including 4130 chromoly tubing. This is why we can get away with a small diameter tube giving a low profile sleek design. The material alone is worth more than $200. That is not including machine time, welding time, and assembly. These aren't cheap thin walled beauty tubes, and if that's what you are looking for there are plenty of products you can get made in China from a company who isn't even based out of the USA. These are 100% made in the USA. Not just for quality, but for our economy. Supporting local trades and supply chains costs money, but that's where we like to put our time and effort.
