Happens where we live due to ice beneath the thin layer of snow. Sorry that happened, and I'm glad all were safe.

Yes it was fresh snow and neither of them could see the ice! Thank goodness all was ok and it happened only in walk

Yes she was definitely sensing something was the matter! It was impossible for Christian to see the ice under the snow so I'm also very happy they were both ok.

Yes!!!! It would have be bad if they were trotting or cantering. Luckily the forest paths are not slippery so it was just that last patch of icy road hidden under the fresh snow.

How the horse fall? Slippage in ice?

Yes! There was a lot of fresh snow and he could not see that underneath the snow was a patch of ice! The forest trail is all paths so there isn’t much ice but unfortunately in that one spot there was a piece of slippery ice road under the snow!
