Glad you moved to where you can trail ride! Help keeps a barrel horse brain healthy and great exercise. Chester is the kind of horse that will never be a typical trail horse, but that is ok. You do a great job of handling and riding him. He is sort of like a rocket!! In a good way!

Hey sadie! I’m getting my own horse soon, in around December and January. I know it’s a pretty long wait but I’ve been sorta prepping. Do you have any tips for horses that live in pastures to get used to the new barn and their surroundings? The pasture is about 5 acres maybe 3 and there’s a pretty big herd of mares than on the other side of the property there is geldings. I’m pretty sure I’m getting a mare and are just needing some tips for my first horse! I have been riding for awhile and ride most of the crazy horses there so I’m super excited for my own horse!
