I was just out at the Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival and we won a Tupike in the raffle. Pretty excited to start using it! Thanks for the video.

legs are useful for dispersed camping...no picnic table. Though now I think of bringing a roll up large table and just use a regular stove w/ no legs. But that requires more space..... not happy with the Coleman Triton I bought. Going back to REI. Instastart already busted after 2 trips. This Primus sure looks nice...but very pricey.

Just bought this stove the other day, awesome ! Love it, I have a question about how to attach those 2 small Brass fittings to the Primus canister ?. I know the one that has the valve threads to the bottle, but if i do that the gas just comes out lol. There are no instructions on how to do this.... I bought this stove for " Van camping & Road tripping " so i bought the proper hose that i can run to a 10 or 20lb propane bottle instead of buying a bunch of little gas canisters. But id still like to know how to attach those 2 brass fittings just incase . Cheers

You need to turn the pan stands upside down when you pack away.

At first sight this looks so great, but im worried about that it seems pretty wobbly on those thin legs, and also the wind stoppers dont really seem well thought out at all. Any thoughts on those issues since posting this review?

Hey Bjorn! Thanks for your comment. The really arent issues at all. The legs hold up the stove just fine in my opinion and the wind deflectors do their job. Its not perfect but the stove is awesome and is THE camp stove I bring when I am out with my family. Thanks again bud and if you haven't already, please consider subscribing!

non usa models market the newness of this model due, in part, to using isobutane. not so in usa assuming compliance issues and one might consider a downgrade big fan of Primus
