I wonder why a lot of people are asking why you didnt just buy a tbss. I guess they dont understand the passion in creating a rig like that. Mad mad props man.
@lazyesgarage10 жыл бұрын
All these people saying it isn't a "True SS" well neither is your Civic with a fart cannon that your mechanic put on it. Or your SS with non SS exhaust or wheels.

awesome transformation process, i can see the passion and the hard work you put into it, and the result justifies all the efforts, stunning! i like especially the eye-popping color combo and what you did to the hood. greetings from germany :)

I feel your pain. I built my own version of an SS. Spent more money than it would to just buy one as well. It's about the one off build. Internet tough guys and wanna be mechanics talk to much crap. I like it and would buy it from you if ever sell. Great job on it.

WOW.. That really nice, ive always wanted to put the 6.0 in mine and black it out. The Orange and black combo really makes it stand out from any other car out there. My favorite part was the hood, VERRRRRY cool design, never see another one like it. Great work man, very cool

When someone does a proper conversion with they're heart and sole it simply deserve's your respect. I'm tired of people complaining about everything in the car community. And you know what the fact is? 95% of the people complaining have nothing respectable themselves. Fact is that this conversion was done quite well and you got my respect. Looks awesome, post more videos!

Love love love the color and the attention to the little details just makes it amazing things like the trim around the exhaust, the inset front license plate and the airbrush work great truck I would much rather drive that than a stock tbss.

Your truck is an inspiration. Great build. I am looking to convert my straight 6 TB to a V8 and I was wondering if you needed to do any fab work to the frame or motor mounts to drop in the LS2? There's alot of disinformation and misinformation out there about the I6 and V8 Trailblazers having different frames. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
@cpufreak1019 жыл бұрын
+david11946 i will say i do know one very popular thing people do is if they have an LS or an LT they do swap in a LS2 since they are really all the same vehicle, and they are all on a GMT360 chassis (the EXT's are on the GMT370, same thing just lenghened)

Fantastic build! Im blown away!
@shunmitchell12494 жыл бұрын
I looked into doing this as well. First off the cross member which is what the engine connects to via motor mounts has to be cut with a plasma cutter, moved up a few inches and rewelded. It's cheaper to just buy a SS and do the upgrades you wanted as seen in the video

Probably has one of those kits where u tap the mirror and the door pops open. Seen one like that at waterfest 17 on a GTI and it was sick!! U tap the mirror and the door pops open and then u double tap one of them to open the gas cap which was behind the right tail light.

@smumm That's not the case, at least with the TBSS. It's very easy to make a TBSS hood scoop functional and most actually are. They have a duct that runs to the top of the airbox with a gasket to put air directly on the filter. I have thought about buying one of the hoods for my TBSS as well. Oh, and Ford even does the same trick stock on some of the Mustangs.

I agree if thats the case but does he not have listed in the description box stroker box and procharger...? I cant imagine all that work being done and then it being power by not only a 4.2, or a 4.2 procharged, but a 4.2 stroker block with a charger... maybe thats the case idk but it seems more likely its a 6.0 or 6.2 ls stroker block?
