Suggestion, in order not to lose these dog boots, wrap Vetrap or similar flexible self adhering tape around the top inner portion of the boots. This keeps it from sliding off and shifting out of place.

i do that with my current dog boots, and also to cover the dew claw, but i think that is the point of the ruffwear dog socks

Have you ever had a polar trex boot come off? And do they actually keep the dogs feet dry or are they not waterproof? Considering them as my pups boots are on their 2nd year and almost time for some new ones.

Hi: I recently discovered your channel and am a new subscriber. This was a wonderful video--you're a fantastic handler, and it is obvious that you have a great relationship with your dog. This is something I find sadly lacking in many dog/handler relationships so it fills me with joy to find people like you. Anyway, I love Ruffwear products. I've been a guide dog handler for 22 years now; my dogs proudly hail from The Seeing Eye Inc. in Morristown, NJ. They issue and recommend Ruffwear products to students in class and I've been a Ruffwear fan for years now. Living in the midwest, harsh winters are unavoidable so boots are a part of my dog's working gear. Actually, as long as he is comfortable, my dog wears boots all year round. I'm a bit obsessed with keeping his paws well-protected, and I find it easier on him since we do a lot of walks on concrete and other terrain. I agree with you that having spare boots when walking in deep snow is essential. I learned that the hard way a few years ago with my last dog. He ended up being fine but boy, did I feel awful! Thanks for your great videos. My only problem is I wanna buy all the Ruffwear gear out there, whether I need them or not. ::LOL:: Take care.

Hey there! Thank you for the wonderful compliment and the great feedback. My dog is my life. We do everything together. And I couldn’t imagine a day going by without him. Ruffwear certainly is the highest quality gear I’ve been able to find. Their construction and thoughtfulness match the same quality of my expensive human gear.
