I had a 1st edition I bought in the early 80s. It continues to change my life - knowing you can go into the woods, harvest wood and bark and make things. Incredibly empowering. Wonderful that you keep that flame alive- I donated all my woodworking books to a school, where some person young or old will find it sand be turned on.

Peter, I met you a few years ago at Roy Underhill’s school while I was attending a class. I’m in Stockholm, Sweden now and met a woodworker today that said he and a friend of his will be meeting you soon to film something (?) woodworking related with him and his friend.
