Great job! Any chance you can do a video on stealth running of the wiring to a rear dashcam? I would love to figure that one out. Oh, and one more thing. I'm still getting used to starting out in 1st gear on this car. I find that as I release the clutch in 1st gear, the rpms tend to drop very quickly and I have to either not give it too much gas right away and gently ease into 1st and then apply gas gradually or I have to give it the right amount of gas as I release the clutch, but it can be tricky. Just wondering what you've found to be the best technique with your car. For all the other gear changes it is smooth and easy. Thanks!

Release the clutch slower as you start to feel it bite. No need to bring rpm above 1500 for any situation taking off. The lower the rpm the better but hills may require a little more. The ecu programs rev hang into the engine when you are stopped to make the first gear takeoff easier, I’ve driven a lot of manual cars and this is the easiest one by far, more practice makes perfect! Also I have no plans with a rear dashcam at the moment, but I assume it involves dropping the headliner a little which sounds like a pain!!!

@@NAUS2K Thanks for the feedback about 1st gear. I learned to drive on my dad's manual Civic wagon and have driven a lot of manual cars over the years. Each one is different and takes getting used to. I saw one video on KZbin of a guy running wiring on a Type R and it does look like a lot of work so I may try to come up with a solution that doesn't require mounting the camera to the hatch itself. I really want one on the back because my last car was totaled from behind by a hit-and-run driver. This is the video I saw: kzbin.info/www/bejne/innIdYWIl91meaM

@@cmbiker I ran my wire through the trim to the back, then ran it through the grommet with all the other wires. Once I got it through, I needed a fishing tool to push it through to the top of the hatch. Followed this video to do most of it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGOpeWuQgJelndk

@@Hitsu123 Thanks for the video link. It seems not too hard to do, just need to make sure the wire is long enough.
