I have become fascinated by homo erectus very recently. There are some reports now that they survived in an isolated area of Asia as recently as 50,000 years ago.
@travist2176
@travist2176 21 сағат бұрын
Those reports are wrong. Solo Man from Java was a Denisovan or even an archaic Homo sapiens.

I gotta say, you do a fantastic job rattling off the names of different species and sub species with the correct pronunciations. The only time I've had to utter Greek and Latin root words was way back in Biology "A" and Biology II classes in high school in '75-'77. Now, when it comes to things involving math, chemistry, physics, electrical power, computers, and such, that's my area of expertise. 8^)

Yes, Heidelberg Man emerged around 700,000 years ago but whether they came from Africa, Asia or Europe is still unknown.

But the earliest Homo erectus were quite different from the later ones. They too are part of the evolutionary network and had numerous mixtures with other subspecies. They are more of an evolutionary line than a single subspecie.

The fact that you start your comment with "but" shows your ignorance to me. Because you're pretending as if I didn't know that and didn't mention that in the full video. This is just a 1 minute quick trailer, the full video is 36 minutes long.
@travist2176

True. Saying that Homo erectus is the longest lived species is a gross over-simplification.

@@HistoryWithKayleigh Beginning a sentence with conjunctions is poor grammar. According to the education I received. We all make mistakes. You made the same mistake, but and because are both conjunctions. Assumption and youtube comments go hand in hand. Add in youtube shorts to trigger the free spin jackpot. Take care reading through comments. Particularly when you're invested in the channel being commented on. Your work will speak for itself. Remember there is a difference betwern a critic and a critique.

Imagine one Sapien, a master student, that started a "mind fire" 🔥 creating a new cambrian explosion, in silicon space 🎩☃️, by teaching a "useless machine", the "simplest robot", a pendulum, how to "learn how to learn", and stand itself up, erect, bridging a tiny gap on "the shoulders of giants".
