This version got criticized by the fans as being over the top (mostly Sam) and too much sexaulized of the characters. To be fair, those scenes, especially the scene in the office that's not in this trailer, are in the novel as well, but the fans felt it's too much still. The production team actually took the criticisim from the fans and made adjustments and they did such a great job. The final version that we had is much better and received very well by the fans, so, I will say they did the right thing making the changes from the Pilot.

I think this one is the original gap series but for some reason they change it and make another version. I hope they will release a movie with this version
