Starting Over follows mountain-ultra-trail runner Sage Canaday over the course of a year as he grapples with a life-threatening illness, personal tragedy, and an uncertain future for his running career. Motivated by a love of the sport, the running community, and the support of his partner, Sandi, Sage works to overcome these setbacks and make it to the starting line of a competitive ultramarathon.

Wow I cannot wait to watch this, I am currently 4 weeks post pulmonary embolism and searching for positive stories of athletes that have overcome this injury. Like you mine was unprovoked and out of the blue while in a big training block for an up and coming Ironman. @@TheSeriousRunner Ah man I wish I could but thank you for the response. At least it gives me some sort of Time line. Been watching Sage for years now and I love films/documentaries like this so really excited. The one thing about sage, (feel free to use this in your film LOL) is you can tell how knowledgeable a person is on their subject by how many times they cut their videos. Sage will get on youtube and talk for 20 minutes about a subject in running and rattle it off with zero breaks/cuts in the video. Some people on here have a break/cut every 15 seconds. He is a legend of info:) Good luck with your editing.

I just mean when someone sits in front of a camera and explains a subject:) Sometimes it's like jeeze how many takes did that take you to explain where as Sage can rattle off a subject without blinking:) Can't wait for this film bud!
