BAsically they don't - for the film version they had a red light at the front so they knew which way to face!!

I was able to get a dvd copy online (I think through Amazon) a couple years back as a Christmas present for my mother, as her vhs copy was wearing out, and it wasn't that expensive, about $10 I think. If you have the opportunity to see it, I highly recommend this film, as it is a beautiful piece of work.

I know that the Fox who wanted the Puddle duck for his tea might not be Mr Todd from the book the tale of Mr Todd but part of me believes him to be the same character.

There's a 1971 recording of the whole of it. Pure delight. Yes might be on KZbin or order- able at Royal Opera House London as they revive it often. The legendary choreographer Frederick Ashton himself danced the part of Mrs Tiggywinkle in the movie! Amazing costumes ; even more amazing dancing.

Love this SO much! the first ballet show i ever saw when i was 3! inspired me to dance in the first place! cant wait to see it on stage again in two weeks after nearly 15 years!

I know the fellow who played the part of the frog. It is Alexander Grant. We used to write back and forth all the time, and then he moved to Canada to be the director of the National Ballet of Canada.

Watched this every year I believe one or two days before Christmas eve on TV. Remember my mother was in the kitchen preparing for the Christmas. I loved this couldn’t miss it. It was a tradition then it disappear for some years but right now on New Years Eve it is on TV. Love the music and the beautiful ballet.
