Why did I come across this….now I need one 😆 Also another layer of protection as if you don’t have the handle on it then it makes it harder to take. Thanks for posting!

I don't see this on their website I have ridgid tools only. I wonder how the x5 octane drill and impact driver would do. Fast up/down = awesome.

All I'm using is a Ridgid 18 volt drill and it does a great job! Do a Google search on TRAILER VALET and it will pull it up. Thanks for watching, please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE :)

My tailgate hits the top of my current jack, any problems with like that with this one?

Its gonna depend on the tongue length of your trailer and where the jack is mounted because they are all made different. I haven't had any problems with clearance on mine but I have a big tex 5x12 trailer.

Good video. Just wish you would have maybe talked about the maximum height that you could extend the jack. I'm thinking about buying this same one and the website says 37 inches extended height. Seems very high, which is what I need, but just want to confirm it actually can go that high (from ground up to mounting flange).
@matthewmeltonTEAMMELTONFISHING
@matthewmeltonTEAMMELTONFISHING 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Gene, I just went and measured it for you and with it fully extended from the mounting flange to the ground it measured 23 inches but you can put a wheel on it and gain probably 6 more inches of height. Hope this helps you out. Thanks 4 watching and please like and SUBSCRIBE. :)

@@matthewmeltonTEAMMELTONFISHING So awesome that you did that for me! Thank you! I'm baffled why on their product info they say this: "Retracted height: 23in ; Extended height: 37in" I wonder if they are considering the extended height to be to the top of the jack, which would be weird. Anyway, I suppose I can just add a wooden block to the bottom like I'm doing now. Anyway, thank you so much!!

I have one, when you have weight on your trailer, a drill will not work, you have to use a impact wrench

I keep mine inside my tool box on my trailer so I don't lose it, but it would be a great idea if they offered a place to store the socket attachment. Thanks 4 watching John, please like & subscribe. :)

Gonna weld up a 1/2" socket female onto my old jack stud after I cutting off the handle. Then all I need is a standard adapter. (or a ratchet from my tool kit, if lose charge in my drill)

I like this idea but it doesn't look like it will hold up the rigors of my fishing charter needs, I think I'll wait a year or so and revisit the reviews also maybe by then a known company like Fulton will have come out with a saltwater version.

Geez man, I just want to see how fast it was with a drill. I bounced a around for 6 minutes and gave up. I guess some people are clueless but this was 12 minutes of worthless info.

At the 4 min & 30 second mark you can see it hooked to a drill. Some people just like to whine about everything. While the information was useless to you I'm sure the other 28,000 people who watched it appreciated the more detailed review. Have a great day try not to be such a Richard next time in the comments. Thanks for watching! :)
