As a former violinist in a symphonic orchestra I can truly say that being a part of such a group of musicians while playing movie soundtracks etc. is AWESOME. Especially when all the conductor says is "Guys, at this point in the piece it has to sound like the sun comes up! Go nuts!"
@aryssamedors5 жыл бұрын
I'm wanted to continue playing violin because I played it throughout middle school yet at the high school and they don't have our proper orchestra teacher so we can't and that's depressing because I enjoy playing the violin, just a small story I thought I'd tell cause I've always loved orchestra music
@Sarah_H5 жыл бұрын
In my high school orchestra, we had this one cellist (Justin) who got REALLY into the music and he would play louder than everyone else at the crescendos/fortes. Once we were nearing the end of a piece that had a big crescendo in the last few measures, and Justin played so loud that the string on his cello snapped. From then on our conductor would tell us to "play Justin-loud!" at crescendos.

You nailed the experience on the head. I remember the first time we played a new song for a crowd of mixed musical tastes and by the time we were in the second chorus; they were singing our song back to us. That was a defining moment for me. I will never forget it. This music is amazing.

I love this sort of music, i really think Jo is my favorite composer of all. Can this be played on the radio already? It deserves so much more. It's music made with love, passion and talent. The rhythmical tunes with choir, brass, violin and drums etc. is a new mix that hasn't been picked on upon in the mainstream. Imo Jo and others like Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix are the modern classical music composers and they deserve so much more credit for their art.
