Trailers of 2017 - Paradise City | Mashup Trailer

2017 had some great trailers, so I thought it'd be fun to make a Mashup Trailer for the trailers from that year - and this is the result. I tried to get as many as possible of the major trailer campaigns of 2017 in here, but of course didn't manage to get all of them - most notably the first trailer for "Avengers: Infinity War" is missing, but also the ones for "Alita: Battle Angel", "Kong: Skull Island" and some others. You will find a list of all 20 movies included at the end of the description.
For the music, I used a fantastic trailerized cover version of Guns N' Roses' "Paradise City", done by composers Raouf Rectobiasi and Cliff Lin for Rogue Souls. Holy shit that was really good. Felt there could've been some more sound fx to keep the audio sounding full throughout the entire video, but the sound fx you do have are really good especially the like trailer impact hits -- holy shit those sound so fucking professional -- 0:42 - 0:49, 1:31, 1:36 (holy fuck this one was so good) 1:50 like goddam man teach me your ways!

EmeraldEyeProductions Thank you so much! :) I'm especially happy you like it because I stumbled upon your fantastic E3 promo with the same track when I was at like version 0.3 with this video. :D About the SFX: Most of them are actually multiple pieces combined, some from trailers and some from libraries. The project file for this video has audio on 10 layers, the hit at 0:42 for example consists of seven individual pieces. :)

Great trailer dude! Can you tell me how do you extract vocal channel, I also want to make a mashup video but i find it difficult to work with the audio along with music

Thanks! There are multiple options. If you happen to have a surround sound trailer, the center channel of the audio is mostly or only dialogue, so you would just have to isolate that channel. If there isn't one, there are effect plugins that let you isolate the centered audio in a stereo track. In my case, that's iZotope's Vocal Eraser used with the "keep vocal only" option, but I'm sure there are plenty of alternatives. Other than that of course you can always look for movie clips or different trailers with the same line but less music in that moment. And, depending on your mix, if it's just a little music in the background you might be able to ignore it because your main music might be louder anyway. You could also use basic tools like an Equalizer to boost the frequency range of the vocals in your clip and lower the volume on the rest, but you'll have to see how well that works on your clip and I would see it more as an additional boost if you're out of other options. Hope that helped. :D

@@zaidsheikh7709 It was bundled with Sony Vegas way back when I bought it, and I think it has to be bundled with Vegas or Sound Forge to work. Not sure what's up with newer versions though... But again, I'm sure there are a bunch of alternatives. Even audacity has something similar built in (IIRC that's for _removing_ vocals only though).
