Moab Rocks Are Hard On Parts

Shawn and I ran up on to Steelbender Trail to weld a control arm back together on a SxS. We were sure we could fix it, but brought the recovery trailer just in case. Once there we picked up the rear of the rig. Got it all put back in place and welded some washers on the control arm for the bolt to stay in place. Once fixed they drove it out for repairs at a shop. Then Mike and I ran up on top of the San Rafeal Swell to pull a sprinter van out. We got almost to them and someone had come along and pulled them out, so instead we decided to go sightseeing. 100% truth. That’s why I liked the wrecked gear KZbin stuff - every episode they emphasize cleaning up your trash, my trash, and their trash. We need to keep trails clean. If you have to dump stuff out, do it in big cities - they live that stuff

anyone who had the sense to call you should know that you would always show up. Or at the least notify you it the situation changed. there should be a minimum charge of some sort right up front. Not too big and dependent on approximate distance to the tow or fix. Returned if they notify you ahead of the time of your departure to them. It would really suck to lose all the time spent when you could have been taking care of the next job on the list, especially for that customers sake. As usual thanks a lot for the video.

I don't blame the customer, I will always take the help of someone who is there over someone who is on their way, but it is also a great example of why tow companies do (or should) get pre-payment before they head out. Nobody wants to drive for 4+ hours for nothing.

I can relate, drove 50 miles to fix a broken truck and in 1hour and 15 minutes there was a tow truck picking it up when I got there in 1 hour 20 minutes. Makes your day.

Crossing over on that beam was like what i tried to do when we were playing hid & seek . But it was a 8 inch pipe along the wall 15 feet up . I got halfway and couldn't move. I lost when I cried out get the ladder. We had a lot of fun in that skating rink in Vegas

Im from Oklahoma and saw that OK tag. Guy should know about trail closures. Until the late 80's we had a million acres of open ride, open range in SE Oklahoma. Then people abused that and its now less than 20,000 acres.
