So I've been watching Matt I probably seen almost every episode watch to build the corvair and I love his channel but holy moly I hope that you are charging what you deserve to go and get like the Jeep the broken axle if that's an insurance thing or whatever there's no way that you you should have got at least $20,000 for that and if it's coming out of people's pocket I don't know a poor dude would have to pay at least 10 maybe I'm just thinking wrong but with the special equipment you got you know front lock in your front only sliding around them steep corners I mean risking your life and your team's life yeah I would say 20 and maybe the Jeep rescue from the that's an insurance claim dude that's an easy 10 to 15 I'd say well I just hope you're getting what you're worth buddy probably can't read any of this I really suck it going back and fixing it make them pay because you worth every penny of it

Na, flash flooding not just know to desert dwelling residents. But Your more attentive to it. A serious part is you'all that live in desert know to watch what happens "up hill" from your location and to know the flash flood paths. But in this day and age common sense is gone too. 👍

The sky doesn't need to be overcast. You can have a flash food with perfectly clear sky. The rainfall could have happened 25 to 50 miles away. Have to be mindful of where you are. It's easy to see where water boundaries are in dry beds.

Being a "rust-belter" in a rural community about 20 mins outside St. Louis, I would jump at the opportunity to ATTEMPT some of these trails. Our trails around here are mostly passable with two lanes. I don't see a lot of pull-off spots. What happens when you meet oncoming traffic? Are the trails one way? I know some more difficult trails have a bypass too. I just couldn't imagine backing down more than 1/4 mile to let traffic pass especially if you or they are in a party more than a couple. I will admit that I could never be as hard-core as these "desert-dwellers." I'm used to lush forrests, gravel riverbeds, mud, more mud, and even more mud, clay, humidity, foot hills, (I call them mountains, but that's not accurate compared to what these guys are dealing with). Keep up the good work guys! It's a pleasure to watch. 🙂

Flash Floods are definitely nothing to take lightly!! I lived just outside Ft. Huachuca/Sierra Vista, Arizona many years ago... way back in another century. A friend of mine lived there along the San Pedro River on a little ranch. He and his younger brother were messing around in the pond behind an earthen dam his dad had built across the river bed. While his brother was digging something out of the river bottom and under a couple of feet of water, he heard a rumble up stream and just grabbed his brother by the hair and dragged him up onto the bank as 3 or 4 feet of water came rushing down past them. It scared them both so badly they just sat there watching all that water rushing by while they got their breath back. There's often very little warning and too often cars and pickups get tumbled down the stream like tin boxes. A lot of people have died that way...

What I love the most about Rory is his tow truck has the full locked rear end and the way he can turn that monster on a dime is so professional and its actually what people don't do give the machine a chance to work for you a nd leave it take it's time parts brake because people push what is not made for where your are but if you had a little power and able to lock that rear end to make those unbelievable turns it works if one really wants to learn 4 wheeling watch Rory's videos I've seen great ones world champs but Rory always gets them their that monstrous truck he drives is yet to be bitten by anyone why he Respects his machine babies it home but gets the job done everytime .love his vlogs professional as can be.

At first I thought they may have camped in a dry wash which would be the dumbest spot to stop. Loved the whole lot of banter with the shop guys all there. That's what makes work less stressful a lot of times. Us Aussies are always talking crap about each other like that, especially when out bush. You should try watch some 4WD 24/7. They go pretty hard on some amazing trips although it's a bit commercial for some people as it's run as a business channel. Mind you they show tons of action & laughs so it's not like an infomercial. Bit sad these guys lost their rig, but at least they were ok. Love watching TM doing what it does best. The new pole passed the suction stress test easily.
