Great video! To mirror what someone commented earlier with regards to the music, my only suggestion would be to lower the volume just a tad. The filming was top notch! I love that you were able to build this rig with your boys, that is priceless. As far as a name... Since we usually refer to our vehicles with female names, how about Suzy-O. That way it's a play on the word sucio.

I would wait until you get the frame stiffeners on there and get some sliders welded to the frame. mine are welded on but I will have to redo the supports when I add frame stiffeners. just my $0.02. :)

@gordongreninger61097 жыл бұрын
TrailRecon Forget the sliders. I peeled a well built set my first time out in my xj. A builder suggested boxed steel rockers. They fit freakin amazing! More ground clearnce. Stiffens the entire jeep. You wont need those weld on frame stiffners on that boxed unibody. Welding on that area can open up a can of worms better avoided. Costs about what doing slidders ×2 woulda cost me. Great color choice on your xj btw!!

A video I can get behind, You guys look like good honest kids. It's a special time with the oldman. I love seeing young men doing this kinda stuff instead of getting into trouble. Plus you get a kick ass jeep or any kick ass car or truck, the girls come along. This is what it's all about right here. Good job guys, looks great, I've got a 92 yj I'm finishing tommorow, I just put in a 8.8 with 3.73 gears, an onboard air with an air Ox locker, new nerf bars, a brake proportioning valve, new brake lines, with a slip yoke elimator kit, and a Rubicon express 4.5 inch lift. New head lights and a heavy duty tire carrier. I'm so freaking happy, getting it back tommorrow, it's been a 3 week ordeal. Best of adventures to you young guys, keep on building cool stuff.

Take 78 through Brawley, Ca past Glamis and turn right on Ogilby road. Take Indian Pass road on your left. Great desert wheeling, open country, quail, deer, and dove hunting if you like that sort of thing. Staying south of 78 will keep you out of the MCAS/NAF bombing range. God bless you for your service and to your great job as a dad. We great dads are becoming rare.

Soon I'm FINALLY going to start my build so I've been SCOURING google and youtube for tips and ideas. I have to say you and the guys from 'bleepin jeep" are by far my favorite to watch. My name is Andy and I hope to one day wheel with you all :-).
