The issue is most Bronco owners have this idea that theirs are better lol. It takes decades to actually find out the reliability, quality and longevity. Jeep has been experiencing the world since 1941 with a lot of failures and success. Best all season vehicle, all around vehicle especially with the 392. Still don't like the grille, the incomplete look of the dash with just one round AC vent on each sides and that after thought rectagular middle AC vents that are attached to the narrow looking head unit. Honestly the Alpine redesign look better and rugged. It is wider, but it still looks small with the inner screen on some applications. Additional safety is nice tho and towing capacity even tho nobody really buy a wranger with the mindset of towing a vehicle, get a 2500 or 3500 full size truck then lol. What's with the power seats, but yet no hood struts? But hey, we're stuck with all the changes....just need to get used to it. At least it still looks like a Wrangler. Thank you Bronco for making the Wrangler even more capable. With the 392, this is the Thanos of Wranglers. Nice video!

As a three-time Jeep owner and enthusiast (95YJ, 98TJ, and now a 16JK), I would really like to see them offer a model with less plastic, technology, and creature comforts, and more of the original, raw, bare bones utility that the name was built on. Give us an I6, manual, with great off road capabilities (suspension, tires, winch), and stay true to the roots. Love the page and the content!

You definitely aren't wrong about the pricing but they also hold their value tremendously well compared to other vehicles. If you factory order from select dealers you can get one for almost 13% under MSRP. With how well they hold their value and utilizing said deals, total cost of ownership if selling with sub 80k miles is actually quite good. WAY better than literally almost any other vehicle made.

I really like the 24 Wrangler, the upgrades are really good, especially the full float rear axle. I have the steel bumper with winch (same warn winch) on my JK and I think its great that it is now offered from the factory (plus the necessary adjustments to front suspension to handle that extra weight in the front). Built in trail doors. Make the doors to where you can easily remove the outer and inner door panels to expose a factory trail door. This can be done easily. The outer doors panels are flat. You can secure them like Saturn "S" series secured the polymer (plastic) outer panels. The glass window and window regulator would be the biggest obstacle. But it can be done.

I think Stellantis, like other car manufacturers, has crazy expectations about prices of vehicles. Maybe there are some people that can spend $80K to take a jeep off road, but due to the declining quality of the vehicles, it will require $$ to maintain. My 2015 JKUR has been very reliable and I have only had to fix a death wobble and a couple of axle seals. My friends 2022 Wrangler (Rubicon) has had like 8 recalls and several other significant repairs. I understand it is great to try out a new Wrangler and smell that new car smell..... but I would expect the quality to be the same in the new ones. Oh... You asked what I would like to see for the future. This will get kind of long but here we go. 1. A Jeep where I am not tracked everywhere I go. In other words, get rid of the diagnostics and anything else that is reporting back to Stellantis and who knows who else. 2. Decouple the Rubincon goodies(sway bar disconnect, small lift, lockers, etc) from a trim level. Call it an off road package that can go on any JL without the luxury items and the expense of the luxury items. 3. Make a Rubicon package with the 2.3 to 1 gears of a standard wrangle in the transfer case. Many of us want the Rubicam goodies but don’t plan on rock crawling so give us an option of a different transfer case gear ratio. 4. Hurricane twin turbo engine. Go back to a straight six. The new engine has a ton of torque with pretty good fuel mileage. 5. Offer a good manual transmission option with the Hurricane six. I know how good the ZF based eight speed is because I have it in my JLU. However, nothing wil beat the fun of a good manual so offer it as an option. You can even upcharge for it and some of us will purchase it. 6. If you won’t offer a manual with the six, offer a manual with the turbo four. That would still be a hoot and if it has the motor assist (not the 4xe) like mine does, it would be a great combination as a base engine and transmission.

Not the point, these Jeeps are costing enough as is. My wife has had ventilated seat and sporting SUVs (Acura, Infiniti, and now a Pilot Elite all around $50 to $55,000 all with ventilated seats. These new wranglers are averaging $65 miles o $90. They should have even more creature comforts. Even if they are the ultimate 4x4. This is my fourth Wrangler since the came out with the four door in 2007. I’m not sure features justify price anymore.

I can’t wait to get my 2024JL. I am concerned about the intent of being in the windshield. It will only drive costs up. As far as the gorilla glass. I’ve heard nothing but negative things about that. There are a few KZbinrs in your close niche community that has That has tried gorilla glass. They claimed that they received their first chip pulling away from the dealer where they had it installed. I was going to get it on my JK. But after all the reviews I chose not to. Not only does it chip Just as quickly as any normal windshield would. Trying to get a replacement is reported to take quite a bit longer than a normal windshield. I hope to see reviews on the quality of the windshield on these new Jeeps.

Completely agree that putting both antennas in the windshield (Satellite, XM, AM/FM etc) is dumber than a bag of hammers. Trying to "clean up the exterior" by removing the standard radio antenna makes no sense for many Jeepers who're gonna add crap all over the outside of their rigs anyway. Most owners will eventually add "coms" (GMRS, HAM, CB, etc) to their rigs anyway, so the attempt to remove the stock radio antenna for aesthetic reasons seems misdirected. Also true that replacement windshields will both backordered and expensive, and 36k miles comes very quickly.

@@pontiacwolf no I mean free windshield replacements through auto insurance. Arizona is one of a handful of states that have a law making auto glass (windshields, headlights, etc.) coverage included with all comprehensive auto insurance policies. In fact, most of the windshield replacement companies here will give you cash back if you go through them.

Power windows have been options on cars since the 1940's! How expensive can that option actually save? Side airbags have also been around for over 20 years. None of that is new technology and doesn't warrant a large price hike. I agree with your point about a stripped down version for cost savings, but I believe that the highcost of vehicles like Jeep/Chrysler/Ram, come from corporate greed and not old tech.

I’m implying a stripped down capable Jeep What if there was a rubicon jr - no push button sway bar disconnect, manual disconnect, 4-low, rear locker, no digital screen just a basic radio, no nav, on 32 or 33’s etc? People could still make it their own but start with a very capable Jeep that could hit most trails stock. And at a price point that the average Jeeper can afford. Amazing review. Here are couple of things I wish Jeep did. 1. Half doors from the factory like Ford Bronco, so when you remove the doors, you don't have those awkward doors. 2. The rear door of the Jeep wrangler and gladiator is too short. For bigger people like me, I am having a very difficult time getting in and out. Wish it was like 4 - 6 inches longer. 3. Paint the roof black and or cover it with the black fabric. Or at least have an option from the factory. 4. Offer V8 Hemi with Gladiator Mojave. That would be amazing. 5. Make roof fold into pieces so that you can store it away in the trunk. Specially with the gladiator.

Wranglers are great for people who actually use them for serious and *frequent* off-roading. That said, they are extremely flawed vehicles and simply a "lifestyle brand" for most buyers. I like this new front end if for no other reason than it serves a purpose--more air flow. That's a lesser change. What *isn't* minor is they way they have had to up their game with the release of the Bronco and other competitors--the optional V8, (slightly) more comfortable seats, and better interiors. Finally, the availability of a factory winch from any manufacturer is WAY overdue. With things like active cruise control, lane/anti-collision warnings or braking, and forward cameras, it has been inexcusable for manufacturers of off-road vehicles not to be compatible with heavy duty bumpers and winches.

You could not hear ANY road noise in there. My mom loved it, but I could never. I understand the need for new safety features. which someone has to pay for.
