It probably needed to be shut down. Those places are dangerous and not even regulated. Parents can send their kids their for any ridiculous reason and they'll just accept them. A 12 year old died and they have the nerve to say dhs didn't have the authority to shut them down while they investigate? If the child had died at home under suspicious circumstances, they'd take the other children until it was done so why should this place be any different?

Who's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life. If they're going to be like that they need to be shut down and never opened again until some things are settled and figured out. That's terrible.
