Difficulties apply to doors and this particular door is import since it gives Jinu, a super strong weapon for Anelace that can be upgraded by doing the Nightmare Arena (it probably won't be upgraded cause the Nightmare Arena is already pretty brutal with a good party). Even without the upgrades, its stats are insanely good for this point in the game and its the reason why I use Anelace in the next few bosses.

I will not lie this took me a series of tries due to the excessive amount of doing the right moves such as buffing anelace, using her s-break, and healing but after so many tries I did it.

I'm wondering why you didn't buff up on your second turn, honestly. And hitting em with AT Delay EVERY TIME before going for the heal.

Because the buffs barely make a difference, trying this 3 times the buffs cost more with their 2 turns to activate than they gain you an advantage every time. Also the AT Delay is not infinite, after using it once in the same turn most of the times you will not delay Richards attacks anymore.

How did you have EP Charges during this fight?? I just had Tearal and some crappy food items

I haven't done this again since this video but I did remember hearing that difficulty affects what items you get. So if you aren't on nightmare, that might explain why.

Jinu gets upgraded into one of the best weapons in the game if you clear the Nightmare Arena with Anelace in your party.

I don't think so. Jinu is the only case of a weapon upgrading like this.
