I really need help understanding Cold Steel 2. Firstly I don't get what Vita's objective is or why Crow is helping Cayenne, I thought he would be against the idea of nobles being in power. I assume he actually doesn't care and only wanted Osborne dead kinda like Vulcan. Also how is Cayenne gonna use Testa Rossa to achieve his goal? I guess he can control him despite Cedric being inside but I don't get how he's controlling him. Also when Vita screams that he's not supposed to put Cedric into the mech I was so confused, I mean ... they were in front of the mech, he was blindfolded and restrained... what did she think would happen? why did she think he was kidnapped and brought there in the first place? She literally defended Cayenne from us with Crow and didn't put 2 and 2 together? I can only assume she thought Cedric was there for some other reason but a red flag should definitely be raised. Finally... is Cayenne just a really lame villain? He started by building this alliance in order to give control back to the people just to reveal it's a lie and he wants to do the opposite and uses a big scary robot to achieve his goal. I mean the game treats him like he's pathetic after his defeat so I assume he's supposed to suck but it's a bit weird that the entire alliance you thought for two games was started because he's a selfish poop head. So that's mainly what I didn't understand but I also don't understand Vita, from the beginning to end of the second game (haven't played 3 or 4) I don't understand her goal, her reasoning, anything.

I'm planning on making a video on Agate/Tita and Randy/Shirely for those who haven't played anything before Cold Steel but won't get those out in time before CS3 comes out. I also want to do a longer in depth tl;dr for all the games that covers the characters a bit more under 5 minutes but I'm not sure if that's feasible yet.

I can't for the life of me remember the details of the ending and I have no idea why. F.e. I vividly remember rescuing Princess Alfin, but the red knight? Osborne? Crossbell anixation? Why do I not remember ANY of that? I spent sooo much time on CS2 and did every single quest, it's impossible that I didn't finish the game. Does someone have CS2 still installed? I have my savegames and I would love to know what happens if someone loads them.

Probably because CS2 was so much fun when you had a cruiser at your command and can travel anywhere you want in Eastern Erebonia. The infernal castle was a tedious dungeon and the "Finale" wasn't really the finale since there was still the "Divertisment?" where you control Lloyed from the Crossbell games and then the epilogue where Rean and friends fight some final dungeon that Falcom pulled out of their asses to lighten the mood a little since the game wasn't exactly a happy ending.
