How do you avoid losing tracks when you rebuild them? I noticed when you remove a connector track it just disappears and you lose all your resources. I think most these videos are about creator mode some of us actually earn the resources :/

question, is it possible to build an underwater train track using vacuum compartments and moonpools, for something interesting to have in the Island and later Ragnarock or Gen 1?

@@Etholdir I'd try it myself, but my controller's drifting on the right stick, was thinking of using an underwater train to move things from one underwater base to another, might work best in Rag when that drops since i remember Rag having smoother ocean floors.

Nice video! Got tired of placing train tracks (must've placed like 400 out of planned 650ish of them, and got tired. The pillars also, placed like 2000... anyways, I wanted to design the carts now and this video is awesome! (I ain't no maniac though, I have 3x rates and the cheaper trains mod, as well as a big stack mod installed, I have a life too xd)

I'm trying to find people who are making the track videos. Did you happen to make one? Im currently working around blue ob on the island and over half way however I am struggling with the connectors because if I connect them to the main track and pick up one I get every single one of them. Plus connecting the longer tracks wont actually connect to one another. If you have a video or one in the works please let me know thanks!

Yeah building tracks is definitely tricky, I did most of mine off camera since it's sure a tedious process and quite boring to watch. For the most part I try to use normal tracks as much as possible and just to connect back after looping around the maps/my bases I connect the last bit with the connector, best to keep that one as short as possible.

I am unable to overlap pillars and lay thatch ceilings on the floor, how are you able to do that?

You need to have settings that allow collisions and snap to the sides first before adding the ceilings

Can someone explain how he was able to use ceilings as floors? I've tried, but it wont accept the snap point.

Snap them to the walls not the cart itself :)

I've tried two quarter ceilings on the side of the cart to see if it'll accept that, but it's still the same.

It’s because at the time this video was posted, you could still over lap walls and foundations. Unfortunately for some odd reason wildcard removed the ability to do so, also removing the ability to add the ceilings like that

@@Larz151I snap a quarter ceiling to the edge/outside of the cart and then I’m able to snap more ceilings to that quarter ceiling going back over top of the cart. Hope this helps, I’m doing that now so it does work.

I dunno why but after last update.. anytime i try to use a pillar on the train, the game crashes.. tried it with mods off and still does it.. saw a reddit post with two people saying they have the same issue but no solutions… hopefully people make get wildcard aware of this issue…
