I can guarantee you, all class one freight train locomotive engineers make 6 figures. And for major commuter rail engineers (Metro-North, Metro-Link, Amtrak, etc) they can make well over 200k

hello you really don't know what your talking about csx transportation doesn't require a high school diploma anymore.

Good Content. The people in these positions earn a decent living for the most part are happy! I do have to say that your emphasis "only need a HS diploma" sounds a little demeaning. Put the/a positive spin. Consider saying or paraphrase "Many people purse a successful career without earning a degree." and like for Conductors, say or paraphrasing "Train conductor members are responsible for operational and safety duties that do not involve the actual operations of a train or locomotive. Their duties include checking tickets, motoring train movement and speed, insuring passenger safety and reporting any issues or defects to the train crew." Make people feel really good about your delivery!!!

Sir, I am a qualified locomotive engineer in the Netherlands. I am doing this job for the last 6 years and I absolutely love it. Is there a chance to do the same job in Canada? I mean can you get a job offer while you are outside of canada? And offcourse I understand you need to do the training again in Canada and will have to qualify for that too.

It's easy, once you get over here, apply to Norfolk Southern, CSX, Union Pacific, BNSF, etc... And work as a conductor, once you gather experience you can either wait to be promoted or apply to passenger rail ways for an engineer position.
