I am kind of confused on why during the last train robbery scene, why was the DEA forcing the MerryWeather escort off the road?

The DEA is the "Drug Enforcement Administration" who obviously wants to confiscate those Narcotics on the Train. The Patrol units were basically Bodyguards for a Drugdealer (Stig). You can argue with that but DEA classified due cicumstances the Patrol units as hostile and wanted them taken down.

Fabian explained it correctly... The Stig had Merryweather (private security, not police) trying to protect his shipment whereas the DEA (police) just wanted to stop the shipment no matter who it belonged to. And, of course, Merryweather was in their way which is why they were taken out ;)

Why did the DEA run the protection officers off the road?

Simple..... due to the stig shiping drugs across the country and the Bruckell stealing it, DEA wanted to conficiate it and arrest both of the guys. The protection officers were just bodyguards for the shipment so they needed to be stopped aswell.

Maybe ;) Generally speaking, I'm using the truss bridge from Sadler Gorge (www.beamng.com/resources/sadler-gorge.3349/ ), removing the road deck and placing train tracks already on the map on top of it (using World Editor). Hope it helps and thanks for the suggestion :)
