Ok to clear things up, I have found out that the Alstom 2 Tone horns on the X'Trapolis 100 are called the Matexon Sonabel 377hz and 387hz airhorns

@aussiegunzel1438 thanks for clearing that up for us! After seeing your comment, I decided to further look into this and I’ve found that the specific horn the X’trapolis trains use is the Sonabel DHR H210 which is tuned to 377Hz. I didn’t know that they ran 2 tone horns and if they do, I’ve never heard the higher tone horn. I’ve been trying to figure this out myself for ages. I’m curious as to how you came to your conclusion?

@@ryemtrains figured as much, in the US we have two k5las, the normal one (which I refer to as the amtrak K5la), and the CSX tuned k5la (which I like to call freight tuned).
