Tunnel lights should be positioned above. Currently, their placement causes discomfort for train travelers. The lights shine directly into passengers' eyes when they are seated, which is quite bothersome.

So which section of the Jammu to Srinagar path is still incomplete? Is it the small section between Sangaldan and Sawalakote? Also from Katra to Jammu? I dont know Hindi so im just picking up few words here and there. Greetings from a Malaysian Indian.

@@xijinpig8982 Only the section between Katra and Reasi is yet to complete. There is one tunnel which has been very challenging, thus has taken so much time. But now work is going on in full swing to finish the same. After finishing trains will run from Jammu--> Katra (currently trains stop here)--> Reasi--> Bakkal (Chenab bridge is between these two) --> Sangaldan(currently a local train runs from here upto Baramulla to n fro)--> Banihal-->.... .... Srinagar--> Baramulla.

@@apkaneerajsahu7410 Jammu se Reasi hokar train chalne me abhi at least 6 months lag jayenge. Aap I think is saal to Jammu se Sangaldan station tak bus se travel kariye. Rest of journey you can do by train. Kyonki abhi official inauguration nahi ho paya hai Sangaldan-Reasi section ka, some critical tests are still underway.... Better to do Amarnath yatra of this year by bus or do it next year.... As far as nearest railway station for connecting Pehalgaon is concerned, it is "Anantnag".
