141113 was the only 141 to be fitted with the same Cummins engines and Voith hydraulic transmissions that the 142s, 143s and 144s were fitted with in the 90s (replacing the original Leyland engines and SCG gearboxes). They used to run 141113 before getting the 142.

Ah... Seeing a pacer up and running since the 'retirement' from Northern Rail brings back both nostalgia and nightmares... From being roasted alive on a Pacer between Manchester Victoria and Blackpool North because being in a pacer in warm weather is like sitting on a greenhouse on tracks. Taking am improptu shower on a pacer because the open doors would let all the weather in (In later years the window and door seals would leak) and having your ears bleed every time you pass through any set of points. But... the bounciness of the ride made a good bouncy castle for 4 year old me and the fact it was the local type of train for so many years... Blackpool, Southport, Oldham and Rochdale and Huddersfield. To be fair, TSW 3 really needs the 141/142/143 pacers on a scenario... The WY Metro 141's on the North Transpennine route between Huddersfield and Leeds and the 142's on the Oldham Loop line in Manchester as a fair number of trains ended up there... (Dovetail Games if your reading... Make a Pacer scenario for Oldham Loop, extend the North Transpennine map Please...)

The doors on the 142 are non-original because all 142s, 143s and 144s were modified for the old standard of wheelchair access in the 90s, which also included removing the "entry/exit" divider poles.

the class 170 turbo stars were built in derby same as the eclectrostars

Hey there’s something now DTG could put in! The iconic British Railway Class 142 Pacer!! The bus train! Those trains looked super cool! I wish they could be in service! A bit of repairs could get it back up and running on the rails

30:05 Great anglia used on the class 90s and the DVTs this livery is the modern version of it but they used to have ONE livery before rebranded

At 30:56 those mark3 coaches after east Midlands.. most likely find there ex greater anglia part of the class 90 sets that did the norwich to London run for ages before being replaced with class 745's that now serve the route.

Those doors on the 142 pacer are not original doors, they were like the ones on the 141 pacer when built.
