Train Sim Classic Live: ALL NEW Searchlight Simulation NS SD70ACU

Tonight we will be taking a look at the freshly released Searchlight Simulations SD70ACU in the NS livery.

I'm an old Microsoft Flightsim pilot. I remember when they were working on that Train sim, until they weren't. Bummer. This looks great, and your video answered most of my questions. I was planning on building a box for the new (if they ever do figure out which one's the newest) Flightsim. I'll probably try this train sim based on what you've shown here. A few bugs ain't bad, those exterior sounds were blended better with the windows open....anyhow, I still dig LOMAC, bugs and all. Thanks for posting.

Does train simulator classic come with tutorials for newbies on how to drive a train and turn it on or do you have to have pre-knowledge on how to operate a train. I have zero experience.

I wouldn't call this All New as Searchlight didn't build the model of the SD70ACu searchlight only formatted it so it could be used in Train Sim Classic while adding some new features. the model was first used in Trainz made for Trainz created by a user of Jointed Rail "NOT" searchlight. Yes Woody a worker of Searchlight did have a hand in adding new switchable switches and buttons as well as the Real horn but other than that this model is over a year old NOT New only New to TSC. Jointed Rail did an update on their SD70ACu on their website as of February 7, 2023 as the images are identical to this unit. 3rd party companies are known to share a great model with other sites. One of the tell tell signs that this model is the identical model of Jointed Rail is that the Windshield Defroster strip line is missing just like the Jointed Rail version. The title is meant to grab peoples' attention not be a paragraph long. And yes this NS SD70ACU is "all new" for train sim classic meaning there is not another NS SD70ACu like this one in this game. Your information regarding this model is also incorrect. Audi (jointed rail employee) created this model off a 3d scan made by Searchlight simulations. The audio and scripting for this locomotive are completely unique to TSC. Yes the model is the same as the one used in Trainz but that's where any similarity to the two stops. It has to be completely rescripted from the ground up to work in TSC. If you want to check any of the information I've stated just ask searchlight simulations and they'll probably be happy to clarify.
