PGTRail videos are without a doubt the best train sim videos on KZbin, I couldn't be more confident in that

Welcome back.... I actually do your type narrating in my job as a bus driver now. "I'm reaching 30 miles per hour, so I remove power, allow the bus to coast", "reaching the bus stop, so I apply the brakes", all class mate, legend....

I grew up just up the hill from Milton halt, my old man was a very well known signalman who worked relief from Hoo, Cuxton, Gillingham. Also in the earlier part of the seventies I often spent a summer holiday day going on shift with me uncle Ray who was a Hoo based 33 driver. What ended that was a total accident, little me needed a wee so uncle says just do it out the door so as I was addressing the issue to proceed, uncle trundling on and this farmer just watching the train leaning on the fence raises his hand in a cheery wave then to a clenched fist as he got a face full o' recycled liquids and a lot of expletives too he uttered, he obv complained to someone and I wasn't allowed to go on shift with me uncle ever again :(

Great work as always - love watching your work when I'm on the treadmill - this was great! Kyle of Lochalsh to Achnasheen was hard work though (must have ran 15 miles in that one!) Keep up the good work - you have been missed.

Oh just before Milton halt is the Met police's training centre which has an old Eastern region EMU coach there used for tactical and emergency training purposes, built on the old British Uralite factory which was a white asbestos factory, something I would not be too keen working or living on as it was a mucky place.

The building next to Rochester station on the left is where DTG the creator of this game is actually based lol All that land was once Medway yard with a very iconic super long footbridge with connection to Chatham naval dockyard too.

How come the yellow signals werent flashing before crossing over to the bay platform? Isnt that what happens when its a diverging route. You also didnt point out how the theatre sign said '0' or the feather being lit at Strood. Otherwise we'd have ended up on the medway valley line

if a red signal were to come, how would i know when it will actually be red after the yellow signa
@PTGRail3 жыл бұрын
It's known as "defensive driving" - after passing a yellow signal, you must assume the next signal is red until you can see that signal - and respond by slowing the train down as if the next signal is a red, even though you might not be able to see it yet.
@declangaming24 Жыл бұрын
You didn't use the speed set which makes driving this train much easier
