Are the rear locomotives that we attach supposed to be dead? I would have thought they should be part of the distributed power, but they aren't, even when banking comms are on.

I've noticed that too. Sometimes they do, other times they are dead weight. I've asked about it, but haven't go a reply.

See at 2 hours 15 how did you manage to get it up that hill,. I have it saved just before the signal and it gets more steep? Additionally how did you manage to keep nice speed of 20mph?

That was my second attempt at it. I used my route view, on my PC, it's ESC key. That tells me what the grade is coming up. One other thing I've learned while dragging heavies up, is leave yourself some horsepower (notches) If your notch 8 and you start losing power, that's it. You're stuck. Sand Patch has stuck me the most on all the routes I've done. The 20mph speed comes with looking at the coming grade, what your speed is, how much power do you have left. The first couple of times I did it I was patting myself on the back and saying "I got this" Of course the universe heard me and the next two runs I did I got stuck with a train with more power and less weight. "Thank you universe." lol Thanks for watching, if you have anymore questions or observations, let me know! Edit: If I may make a suggestion; Save somewhere lower down the ridge. If you're saved where I think you are, you've put yourself behind the power curve and it's gonna be even harder to make the grade.
