Sorry about the hideous lag through-out the video I didn't realise steam was updating all my games in the background and the smoke effects from the 2251 do drop FPS a little as after finishing recording my FPS shot up.
Also I forgot to mention you select your headcodes by cycling through H much like the DTG Peppercorn Class Blue Peter add-on.

Oh yes, these are some fine engines. I've been enjoying them myself recently. Compact, dare I say "cute", yet fully capable of taking good sized loads at remarkable speeds, yet also perfectly comfortable trundling along branch lines. A nearly perfect all-rounder. A couple of things have cropped up that bug me a bit though: 1. The low tone whistle cuts off abruptly when you release the B key, whereas the high tone whistle has a nice end to it when you lift off the space bar. 2. I'm not sure if it's an actual fault or just a characteristic that I'll have to get used to, but the handbrake on the tender isn't nearly as strong as I'm used to on virtually all other steam engines. Normally, I find that I can easily use the handbrake to control my speed, even use it alone to stop in stations & such. But on these engines, the handbrake barely seems to do anything at all. These in addition to the faults you found with the GWR livery being stuck on one number (I hadn't even noticed that myself. But then I mostly drive the BR Gilded Lily. Btw, is that an actual term for Lined Green, or am I the only one who says that?), the inside motion not being positioned quite right, and the coupling rods not being aligned with the teardrops. Still, a fine engine all around. Finally, I have my 'Colleen' to pair with my 'Winifred' (my 43xx mogul).

Couple of things that doesn’t look quite right on it is the depth of the side rods. They look too thick. As a consequence, the wheels don’t look like they’re going round at the actual speed the loco going. Also, they just cannot seem to realise that a screw reverse needs to be wound a heck of a lot more than one turn to get to full forward from mid. CW are guilty of that last one quite a lot too!

If you have a race with this engine maybe on the somerset and dorset between Bournemouth and Burnham on sea via Evercreech Junction they used to do some passenger work on that line

Hi there your computer is struggling due to the particle effects sss and dt have implemented same with Britannia and as a good portion of ts is done by your cpu and not your gpu it is probably this that is letting you down hope this help and kind regards jon

The only reason why the 2251 is only sold by SSS and not DT is because SSS commissioned it, so SSS are selling it through their site and not DT. All other DT packs will be sold on DT like the Gresley P2. :)

So, how does one get into Train Simulator? I've played Trainz for about seven plus years, and while I do prefer it's free downloadable content and creation tools, the gameplay of TS looks quite a bit more realistic. Since I'm new, looking at the $5,000+ worth of DLC looks either despicable, or intimidating. Recommendations?

+GWR6029 I have downloaded the Ian Riley Black 5 pack off of Steam Sound Supreme, and can see that it is in my Downloads Folder, but it is not showing up in Train Simulator. Please help?

+Tom Davies Double click the loco when in the scenario editor, a flyout on the right hand side comes out with a textbox with a load of numbers in it. the first few are the loco number
