I think this race is unfair because of the curved section, because the inner curves to the outer actually makes it short, thus the locos can overtake giving a false result. A straight drag race would be best.

i agree here, while the 55 has actually got 5000hp under it's belt, the top speed of 100 would make it lose in a straight up endurance drag race. so what if im late to the party

@@riccardod441 I didn't see it in the store. Must be part of a route. As for the HST, that's a dedicated passenger locomotive, and isn't exactly a normal locomotive by UK standards.

Hello LaZeR JET!!! I love your videos!!!!!!!! I've been keeping track of all of these diesel bad boys because I don't live in Britain but now I've got it. This is my favorite to least favorite of these locomotives. 1st place class 47 2nd place class 33 3rd place class 66 4th place class 37 5th place class 55 6th place class 73 7th place class 70 Last place class 67 because I'm not such a fan with the class 67 maybe because of the look.

Great video! I love diesels and this was a fantastic race! If you were to do another i'd suggest including classes 20, 25/27, 33, 35, 45, 50, 56, 57, 58, 59 and 68. This was my favourite of your races so far!

It’s pretty unrealistic. The 67 and 55 should be well ahead of the pack from the beginning. Closely followed by the 47 up to 90mph. The 66 shouldn’t be anywhere near them. If the 73 was on electric, it’d fly off at the start.

Because you started all the locomotives off in-line with one another and ended with them stopping on a straight line then it's arguably not a fair test, as any train travelling on the inside tracks would be travelling a shorter overall distance than those on the outside. You can compensate for this by staggering the starting line, like they do on running race tracks that go in a big loop.

Why are all the British diesel locomotive headlights all off center? Doesn’t look very clean when then headlights on one side are on but off on the other, or they’re just completely off center. Looks a bit odd and doesn’t really make sense.
