I tried reskinning again and I nearly made my own reskin successfully (having followed all the steps according to the video). But when I loaded my loco in (a Smokebox UP Big Boy), none of the details I added were there. I'm not sure how to fix this.

You were asking why RW_Tools was reading TS 2019...the developer has released a new product for 2020 to replace it, TS_Tools. I've downloaded it and haven't played with it yet, but the interface looks the same.

You need to send us download links to RW tools and the other applications you use in this video... Also,with the reskin instead of putting ''Lazer jet'' logos on the side,you could've replaced the BR logo with the ''lazer jet'' logos.

Can I get in touch with you? I am desperately trying to use existing textures from a reskin that requires a retired sound pack but have no clue what I'm doing in creating a fresh reskin. I do the folder copying and plan to introduce the newer textures on the older reskin copy, but I worry there is more I need to do.

RW tools has been replaced. It used to be on the UK Train Sim website but seems that they have been discontinued. I did this with an American cab car and did the same procedure as you and it says it must have mipmaps whatever that is. Its on the NJ Transit route with the Multi-level cab cars. PLZ HELP!!!

Hey LaZeR JET! I have a race request: Classic British Locos 2. The same type of race as the last one, but the engines are different. The engines I request are: Bittern (with two tenders), GNR C1, Caledonian Class 812, Wadebridge, King Class, Blue Peter, Silver Link, Royal Scot, GNR Stirling Single Class, Class 4 Tank Engine, Evening Star, Caledonian Class 721 and Thomas (Since he's technically a classic British Loco).

I don't see you replying but hopefully someone can help, I have replayed your video several times and I then followed it while reskinning an AC6000 from the CSX AC6000 pack, all works in the game but I can't get the reskin to come up it just shows the regulars paint skin. I have tried several times, to no good results. so I restarted again this time I'll wait to see if you or someone else can tell me what I'm doing wrong the only thing I have to do that you don't is when I go and overwrite the old files the files are read only I untick the read only box and overwrite.

When I try and save it in paint.net i don't have the option to change the file type to DXT5 or anything?

You have to click Save As... instead of Save. Maybe that's the problem

Nevermind, when I loaded mine in the scenario, it just shows it's coupler, the engine doesn't appear. The problem is while saving it the compression file for me was DXT3, but when I went through the list, it was nowhere to be seen, so I wasn't able to save it properly :(
