Each one of those suspension parts is called a TRUCK. Yes, sounds funny, but that's what they're called. Overseas, the same thing is called a bogie.

Nice Job Michael! You did what you could giving securing guidance (i think you were spot on). It really scares me to see a load that potentially mobile secured so poorly. I would think the loading yard would have said something.... Thank you for sharing your experience.

I have no idea how to strap / chain that load, but I'm trying to understand why they are hauling it on a soft side rig? Are they trying to keep them dry, so they don't rust? 😂🤣 Thanks for another fun video.

I think it just happened to be the truck they sent to get the load. Not sure there was an actual reason for it to be in a curtain side.

I AM A RETIRED PROFESSIONAL SEMI TRUCK DRIVER THE WORST LOAD THAT I REMEMBER HAULING WAS PICKLED STEEL PLATES EVEN WITH THE PLATES BANDED FRONT TO BACK AND SIDE TO SIDE THEY STILL MANAGED TO SLIDE AROUND SOME WHAT!

Sometimes I wonder how shippers get away with the way they secure things prior to the drivers securement!!! Most load shifts I do (not this one particularly) I find that the driver was set up for failure by the way the shipper banded it or grouped it together!

Absolute danger of a load Michael steel on steel is a recipe for disaster he should at least had a piece of wood in between each unit to stop the slide. Also they should have been chained not strapped. You wouldn’t get much change from any other vehicle they fell onto it. Totally driver at fault for not checking his load for safety.
