I can't help but sing this movie's praises. The overarching message of compassion, and the consequences of selfishness. The dad's split destiny laid out in front of him, if he went down the road of compassion he would become well loved and respected. If he went down the road to greed and selfishness he would become a powerful CEO, but a complete nobody. The sound mixing - incredible and on point. The editing - snappy and direct. The cinematography - dramatic and scary. The MONSTER ACTING. Speaking as a professional scare actor, these were some of the best acted zombies I've seen in a while. There's so much more I could say about this masterpiece. Also: The creator's have mentioned the way the virus works is that it's a bloodborne pathogen. The speed of infection is reliant on how quickly it hits your main bloodstream

I think what I like most about Train To Busan is this is a zombie outbreak being done in a country where only goverment officials like the police and military have guns, citizens dont so its not like western zombie movies where guns are almost everywhere so the survivors have to rely mostly on physical strength and what they can find around them like the bats and police squad shield and baton.

I saw "Train to Busan" as a KZbin link and clicked on it out of curiosity. I HATE Zombie movies, but I was hooked when the Deer got back up. This roller coaster ride through Fear/Dread/Anger/Sorrow left me drained. Kudos to the writer, director, actors, and especially thye stunt performers for creating a modern classic. South Korea is eating Hollyweird's lunch, big time. Remake/re-imagine this? Dream on. A KZbin reviewer living in South Korea has suggested that the route mirrors the route of panicked refugees fleeing the North Korean invasion in the Summer of 1950,

I love this movie, and I like that the infection is so quick that it makes fast zombies more believable. I just wish the sympathetic side of that villain had shown up a bit earlier in the story, as opposed to waiting until he's turning to say he just wants to find his mother. Otherwise he's just so infuriating. There are so many good characters otherwise, though. My favorite characters are the badass husband (who's going to be in the latest Marvel movie The Eternals) and the homeless man. They're both heroes in their own way.

Has a little action in it at the end but is more of a tale about a father taking care of his girls.
