The Lionel Hogwarts Express did not use Union Of South Africa’s whistle. Much like the film, it used Britannia’s whistle. Admittedly they’re not that different as they’re both Chime Whistles.

No, you half right actually. Plus, it doesn’t really matter because they have very similar whistles. Just like the Tornado, every A4 including the Union of South Africa, etc. which all have the same type of whistle just like the Britannia.

If you ever do another one of these, I'd love to know the origin of Lionel's 2002 Standard Gauge Milwaukee Road Hiawatha, with F7 Baltic 101.
