How did you get the larger console wire to go through?! I'm stuck on that part, there is noway mine will fit.

I've run into the same problem with the H14. The main console wire is too large to fit thought the opening in the bracket and get around the bar. I don't want to try and force it and risk damaging the connection. Has anyone else had this problem?

I got mine to fit also. I needed to take a break from assembling it and I got it the next day. I started with pulling the wire through first and the plug went in at an angle.

Do the arms come off easily enough?.,I need to take them off to get it through a door
@FitnessEquipmentHelp2 жыл бұрын
You will need to remove a few plastic covers and then undo the 3 bolts that hold the arms to the upright. it should be easy enough if you have phillips screwdriver and the allen wrench that came with the unit (or your own allen wrenches). see the time stamp here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZKwkHqoerSEjsU Sorry for the late reply.

try turning the large silver flywheel by hand that should move the pedals to a position where it is easier to use gravity to keep them moving. :)

Why say have a 2nd person yet the video only shows 1 person??? So can it be assembled by 1 person or no?
@FitnessEquipmentHelp7 жыл бұрын
Most equipment can be assembled by one person, its not the easiest way to do it however. You will find it easier and more convenient if you have the help of a second person. It is recommended to have 2 people. It was more effective for me to get these videos done and demonstrate the individual steps just doing it myself.
@wegotthis2477 жыл бұрын
Fitness Equipment Help --- Thanks!!!! I appreciate the vid showing it's possible to SAFELY do it solo if a second person is not an option.
@FitnessEquipmentHelp7 жыл бұрын
Just don't attempt anything outside your personal ability. I have assembled many types of equipment solo but I also am a big advocate for safety. If you find that it is not doable for you we also offer assembly services where you can hire a professional assembler to make sure the equipment is put together safely and correctly.

I was able to assemble one of these Proform Hiit Trainers all by myself today. I just took my time, no problem and I'm 70 years old. Took longer to get everything unpacked and organized than the actual assembly. This video with the printed instructions really made it easy.

I have HIIT 6 model from Costco and assembled it as well but for some reason, it is too hard to pedal even with level one, is that the same experience you had?
@FitnessEquipmentHelp3 жыл бұрын
if your unit is a ProForm brand similar to what you see here the low resistance level should not be what i consider to be hard. the unit has 2 magnet brackets that are moved into position around the flywheel. The closer they are the more resistance you get. Does the resistance change... get harder? if so that is a good sign that everything is working and the magnets are moving. you may be able to make an adjustment (or have a tech make an adjustment if you are under warranty to reduce the resistance) if the resistance does not change there may be other parts needing to be replaced.

How much does the main central core and fly wheel weigh ? Thanks. Nice Video.
@FitnessEquipmentHelp4 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The flywheels on this unit are relatively light. Just under 5 lbs each (There are two of them). The inertia is augmented by a double reduction belt system that spins the flywheels at higher speeds than other ellipticals.

Most noises are from parts that have come loose. go through the hardware on the machine and make sure it is all tight. Grease any metal to metal contact points, especially, along the axles.

This video and the manual both made it relatively easy to set it up. Definitely need another person’s help to tilt the body to screw the base legs. Power screwdriver is useful but not a must - you still have to use Alan keys and spanned to tighten some nuts and screws, and difficult to reach angles

Oh no, I think I got an old model from Costco. The base bottom 4 scrows are unable to scrow. No wonder the instruction said disregard. This video is showing an improved model which has the side scrow holes to secure better foundation.
@FitnessEquipmentHelp6 жыл бұрын
Actually the unit shown is an older version. the newer versions have 4 screws for each base leg, two in the top and two underneath. If you are finding it difficult to turn the screws make sure you have started all 4 before tightening any of them. Since you will need to be tipping the machine you will find it helpful to have a second person help with the assembly.

I did some research and went to a fitness store to check both of them in real life, bowflex seemed like very, very poorly made and the dials were from 1980s. Hated it plus the possibility of having the iFit and having a tablet mount really helped me decide on the ProForm. The Costco deal was amazing, I could have bought the Bowflex if it was 50% of its current price just because it was cheap.
