Real meat is always a winner, just make sure it's not part of your puppies regular diet, so it's a special treat

We actually start our puppies off training with nothing but kibble. Our kibble is on our website. Our puppies work for most of their food so we don't want them filling up on treats. Raw meat is a good idea as someone else commented, but once you start them on raw it's hard to go back to kibble. If you feed raw exclusively, it must be balanced. Also, when feeding raw out of your hand, you have to be careful to wash your hands well immediately after training. Good luck with your training!

We don't make the puppies look up at us. They do it because it is a game that they enjoy. If they don't want to do it, there is no punishment for not. They can rest when they need or want to. It's their choice.
