Great job guys! Watch that deadman cord, it was dragging on the ground just a bit as you parked. Those cords are$$$$. If you ever need a job in Palm Springs California, I know my buds would hire you. Get out of that cold weather.

FAA violation for pumping while not monitoring the aircraft and fuel panel. I had one of my fuelers simply write down the FOB while still pressing the deadman and an FAA inspector wrote him up.

That would be the Deadman control. For pumping to start and continue, there is a button on it that needs to be held down.

How heavy is the connector at the end of the hose?
@unamed298 ай бұрын
It's only about 20lbs, it's the weight of the hose itself that adds up quick.
@juanbetancur11052 ай бұрын
Quick question brotha are you able to carry the hose to the ladder and then from the ladder to connect it to the plane with one hand? or is it really heavy?

Hi bro,in which airline are you working
@unamed298 ай бұрын
Hello, this FBO is not affiliated with any airlines. We refuel all commercial flights and some charters that come in or out of YOW.
@davidsmiths5471 Жыл бұрын
Kinda defeats the purpose of that tanker! It's made so you don't have to use a ladder! And parking between aircraft is not safe either! And as a trainer you should know better to walk between the cone and the engine!
@Young_rich_king Жыл бұрын
This tanker is too tall for the A220, but you could fuel it underwing if you wanted to lose your job and write off the plane. Parking in between plane is SOP in every airport, I don’t know how you expect it to get done. Cones delineate vehicle traffic not ground workers. Seek your knowledge before speaking my little ignorant “friend” 😂
@Rebel_808 Жыл бұрын
All airlines have different SOPs when it comes to fueling their aircraft. For instance, a 737 for one airline will allow you pull alongside parallel with the wing , while another airline will make you park how they did in this video.
@davidsmiths5471 Жыл бұрын
@@Rebel_808 What about the airports policy and procedures! When the tanker is blocking a access road ? So the airlines, airport,and refueling firm all have SOPs! But the safest would be used!
@unamed298 ай бұрын
@@davidsmiths5471Hi David, thanks for your concern. This tanker is too tall for 737 aircraft, hence the ladder. The cones delineate no-go zones for vehicle traffic.
@davidsmiths54718 ай бұрын
@@unamed29 First your video shows your refueling an Airbus thier fueling panels are on the fuselage or on the wing by the single point!737s panels are on the wing!pointless! And that type of ladder would not fit under a 737!

new guy not wearing safety shoes?
@7gxnz Жыл бұрын
he should, but maybe there's a lack of them in the storage; it happened at my job and the ramp agents had to wait 2 weeks for the safety shoes, they were still working though 💀
@sahilgrewal7509 Жыл бұрын
@@7gxnz WTF your still working through LOL your telling me that you managers don't care? if you get hurt on the job your not going to get any pay for any injury to your toes second of all if a manager saw me like that I would get a Step 1 letter cause its a major safety violation. You must work for some low paying third party affiliate who gives no crap about what happens
@sahilgrewal7509 Жыл бұрын
@@7gxnz and also who has them on storage? my requirement for when I first joined my airline was to have safety shoes. If I did not show up to training on the first day with safety shoes they would release me from the job.

@@sahilgrewal7509 ohh, well I was talking about the airport located in Poland, the company has storage with all different sizes of the same safety shoes, haha they were missing a few sizes for a couple of weeks but still let their workers do the job
