stackindatpapa they still do. Fighting 12 rounds is no joke. Don’t think nothing has changed. Most people can’t even do 3
@archy37375 жыл бұрын
hifli danni true amateurs can barely do 3 rounds like me, but pros they train in training camps like almost 24/7 fam I’m an amateur I got school and shit I only get to work out from 3 to 9

Training in boxing is usually kind of the easier part, because you have someone like a coach to tell you and force you to work. But running is hard, because you usually have to do it on your own time when you leave the gym or in the mornings by yourself.

Make sure you have a humble and wise life outside the ring too. Get a wife, stick with it and have kids. Look at what money, fame and women did to Tyson... I would also say to never underestimate any fighter and never undertrain.. again the example is Tyson vs Douglas. If you are talented and serious in your training and life and every time during your entire career, there's no reason you wont be successful.

Guys do yall remember a video on KZbin called "Boxing training montage"? The video had that Nelly/ Mos Def song with pacquiao, then showed Ali with some 60s music, Tyson, Mayweather, and all other legends of the sport. It was released like in 2010 but I guess it got taken down due to copyright because of the songs. Man can someone tell me where to find that video?

@kingdaleclarke I dont know if the training was harder but their life was for sure. Those guys had nothing to eat for days sometimes and would fight anybody for $5. Dempsey said that for a few dollars you could have hit him in a face with a sledgehammer back then. They had iron chins because if they stayed on the canvas and lose they wouldnt get paid= they wouldnt eat. Some bouts were scheduled for a certain number of rounds, some other would finish only with a KO. So u could have 45-r bouts..
