Training does not end when the horse is put up. Every interaction with the horse is training, and if you don't approach it that way, then you're missing out on a very important part of your horse's training. Here in this video I am cleaning this yearling's stall but taking the time to make sure he is comfortable with everything going on around him. He may never be in this situation in the future, but I am going to take the opportunity now to make sure he is trained to it.

I work on a farm around horses so I wanted to learn how to behave around them as this is all new to me. I am finding your videos on groundwork etc very helpful thankyou.

Great video, he tries to hide from what is uncomfortable, but once he relaxed he was curious again. He is going to be a nice horse to handle and once he gets old enough to ride will likely trust the rider due to all this preparation.

That great but question I got I noticed that handling a greener horse in stall or riding mostly on the ride in pasture or on side of road she does great but if I get on neighbor side of fence of pasture she get nervous so I been staying on neighbors side when I ride is that the answer 🤔

Sounds to me like she needs to be hauled to lots of new places and see lots of new things.

His owner bought a haflinger mare and brought her home and a few months later he was born. They didn't know she was pregnant and no idea who the daddy was.
