Training Snakehead Fish For Hand Feeding

This time I train my snakehead fish to accept food from my hand or we can call it hand feeding. The actual training was longer than what is shown in the video. Since the beginning, I add this fish in this tank, that's when the training stared. You can watch the entire series in this playlist:

Glad to see more people doing nano aquariums with Channa Andrao. Such a underrated combination! May I ask, how big is this aquarium? I am planning to start a nano Channa Andrao setup too

The tank is 45 x 35 x 30, but 8cms in the back is for filter.

Why such a small tank? Wouldn't a fish that size be more healthy in a tank at least 4 times as big so it could comfortably stretch it's wings?

This tank is already that big. This fish is 8 cm, the tank is 45 cm.

I suggest you give your channa andrao blue color enhancer so your snake head will be much prettier than before

Over time it will grow to about 5 to 6 inches it will require a 50 tank! What I have they are cool fish I want one 🧐

It's too late for this fish. It's not juvenile nor young adult anymore. It is fully matured fish. It will probably grow 1-2 cms in the next few years as fish grow for their entire of life, but that's all. I've kept this fish since juvenile btw, it's not new fish that I just get. It's siblings already 5" and stuck at that size. So no, channa andrao probably can reach 6" and some even reported 7", but not all fish will ever reach maximum size. Because fish grow for their entire life, maximum size is reached when the fish is old. Old fish don't like swimming too much, so we trully can't use it as standard.
