I agree tat flash seems tight. He is definetly not confortable on some jumps, since he is not streching and arching as much as he could. He seems restrained by not being given enough relieve. Shame. Maybe when he is more relaxed will the rider relax too? Or the other way around :)

It is sad how riders don't see the discomfort or if they do, they give it no priority.

No disrespect but his ears are forward and he’s trying to speed over that’s a good thing if there was discomfort he would be be trying to slow down taking short distance or even opting out like I said no disrespect intended and I hope you have a nice day 😊

@@dora_is_daddy2885 Thanks for you polite response, so rare in these days. When I see him standing there, I ask myself, would he be like this if he were in his pasture?. His eye shows much stress and he is making quick movements of agitation. I want relaxation and comfort in my horse. I would not continue with him feeling so stressed. My priority is mental and physical relaxation and a true acceptance of the rider and the aids, not just tolerating. What would happen if she took off the running martingale and the noseband? I just believe it is better to give the horse the freedom to show you where you go wrong. I want feedback from my horse.

I agree completely. When one understands the horse's language (body language) and learns to become an effective communicator with the horse, the discomfort the horse feels is obvious. Horses perform much better when that are confident and comfortable and have a good bond with the rider.
