Welcome to Xtreme Chest Locked, the series where we take on Runescape's hardest challenges whilst being limited to only chests.
This means EVERY aspect of the game, we can not train agility without using chests, obtain items without using chests, or use shops as they are not chest related.
This episode we try to unlock barrows and complete some 6 brother runs.

6:46 There is few ways to obtain a cabbages from chests or caskets. One of the easy ways is 1/13k from a master clue

Small tip for Tempeross if you didn't know it and plan on going back. During the 3rd and final batch of fish you put into the cannon, load about 7 or 8 fish (You can load a few extra to be safe) into the second cannon. This will increase your DPS enough to break the shield outpace the storm rapidly going 100%, if you do fail to kill it for whatever reason (Assuming you are fishing a full inventory or at least 20 if I did my math right).

You can't use the diving gear to do the thieving/agility method anyway so no need to worry about dropping that

You can definitely use it for underwater agility for oxygen, I'm 99% sure at least 👀

You can't take it into the area where you get the mermaid tears. The lady yells at you to take it off. You can't even bring in molten glass if I remember right

16:45 Just so you know. When you looked at the wiki, it was wrong. Cooked bream heal for 1/3rd of the cooking lvl or 1/2 of the fishing level, whichever is lower

This is definitely not true, as at 69 cooking and 56 fishing I get heals of 18

@@Tellacon Thanks for the reply! I stand corrected, turns out the cooked bream follows a completely different formula than the cooked moss lizard then! Which is interesting because at higher levels the formula seems to fit, so there has to be another factor that is changing at 'lower' levels.

You can get the cabbage for sote. Beginner clues drop them

For herbs you could buy herb boxes from the nightmare zone reward shop (which I'm pretty sure is a chest)

Check back to episode 5~ when I do wildy slayer! But unforatuntely not, when I kill things I can only pick up chests/keys, all other items have to be left on the floor

Possible side quest now you have sardines is Gertrudes cat > Icthlarins Little Helper > Pyramid Plunder for the Sceptre and that also sets up for ToA :)

I would argue that you could use the fishbowl helmet and diving apparatus to train agility, since you need the subquests for further access to the culinoremancer chest anyway, so it's an unlock for a chest, no?

You can't even use them in the agility area anyway so it's only useful for farming seaweed and even then you don't need it

The main reason I kept crates away outside of the logistics when googling the terms, is if you include things like soul wars and wintertodt, a lot of the early game chests become redundant and I'd never have gotten to experience them!

Keeping the fish feels like arguing that because the pickaxe came from a chest you can just mine and keep ores. The fish didn't come from a chest, they came from gelinor just like the ore. I was gonna say they came from the earth, but did they??

My rule has always been resource = keep as I use a resource from a chest (like using steel bars) but a pickaxe isn't a resource so I can't go ahead mine ore

I hear you, and fishing bait is definitely a resource. Do you allow ores from chests to be smelted and then smithed and then equipped? If not, where is the line? Why does fish not cross it?

I understand the sentiment, but in my opinion the account isn't confusing, but my explanation throughout the series has been - the rules have always simply been: - If a chest is locked behind something, I can unlock it if it's a repeatable chest - I can use any resource from a chest - I can only train with chest related content or from resources from chests All of the things in this video fit these rules, except the dungeon rule which was explained back in CoX thieving, but I do understand I've not done a fantastic job

I've been watching since ep1 and I like it, just meant listening to you explain in the middle of eps what you're doing can get confusing. I get that you're explaining for people that are strict about rules, I guess I'm more of a 'just do it/just keep it' viewer. I understand the sentiment but the rules have never changed, I think the issue is sometimes I do a bad job at explaining them - the dungeon rules were mention in the CoX thieving episode, using fishing bait is using a chest resource, and tempoross is allowed as it has a unique chest - are there any other exceptions we've covered?

I've done hundreds of moons at this point - I don't think it's necessarily bad (with my gear eclipse is kinda the same length fight) but if they made a couple of changes, like on the blood moons 3rd hit when it hits a 1 and heals a 30 it feels bad, and if they made it so damage to jaguars damages the boss those would be some cool changes ;)

​@reptilewithsadhumaneyes Bruh, I love this reply, but replying to this video is literally one of your hobbies, and as someone passionate about replying, you would think you would clearly hear the sentence "a couple of months ago, completely unbeknownst to me, jagex made a change to Zeah" being stated at 7:20 in the video, which is pretty hard to misinterpret in any way other than him having missed the changes. This is also supported by the fact that even the last video came out after the Zeah changes. As someone so passionate about making replies, try to do better next time?
