Hello Sir, the video is very technical and I feel knowledge on silage making now. However I wanted to Confirm if 15*10*4 ft bunker would be sufficient for 1 acre maize (20Ton). If so then should the silage be filled at 3ft or completely 4 ft height? Thank You Sir. Please advise.

3 or 4 ft does not matter, you need to press it completely to make sure no air is trapped in fodder anymore.

Hello Khanganba, It depends how much silage feed u give to your cows (also depends on Desi or Hf ) If you give 15kg to 1 cow so 15kg*4 cows=60kg/day. Therefore 60kg*30days =1800kg/month for 4 cows. Around 20 tons is produced from 1 acre maize production. 20000/1800= 11.11 months So, from my opinion u can feed your 4 cows for 12 months Max. with 1 acre corn silage... This video is justified..
