Great recap and race. I have done Silver Rush 3x now and this year was by far the hardest. Dehydration/Nutrition a lot of lessons learned. But we checked that one off our list so let’s move forward to the 100!

I can't imagine the struggle that you went through! Well done to get through it. Food definitely would have helped but it's hard when you just don't feel like eating. Thanks for the video and I'm looking forward to the next installment!

Oh...this is a doozy of a 50! :) Way to get the finish and on to the next one! Having done Silver Rush 3 times, and finished LT100 once (2019), I can tell you that the 100 is SO epic!!! You'll do great. The miles are truly enjoyable. I really valued training on Hope Pass and knowing what that return from Windfield up the backside of Hope shoved down my throat, and knowing how steep it was before experiencing it, really helped mentally. It's a TOUGH climb, but knowing one foot in front of the other will get me to the summit, was so valuable. Good luck

It was a tough day out there. I didn’t have a problem eating, just altitude got me. Kind of disappointed in the food selection though! I bonked those last 15 miles along with the altitude. Walked pretty much all of those. I was dizzy and couldn’t catch my breath even when I finished. Glad I’m coming out early for the 100.

I can only begin to imagine all the discipline, will, strength, power and positivity that was put into this race from all the runners! At times, I would guess it was hard to keep their chins up, but they had the will by the grace of God to keep running! 🏃🙌 A Big Shout Out to everyone, you did great! Most of all, to my son, Bryan Serafini who ran in this race!!🏃 I am so proud of him!! Hope everyone is doing well!! ♥🏃

Congrats on the hard finish! The true measure of grit and determination is not finishing when all goes well, but rather those races you complete despite everything going wrong. Binge watched your whole Leadman series - what happened!? Is it your rib injury? Or was the 100M MTB problematic? I'm looking for any tips and advice as I'm also mostly an ultrarunner learning the basics of MTB for my attempt at both the Leadman and Grand Slam in 2022. Documenting it too on my channel but I clearly don't have your talent at story telling - but hey at least my mom gets to follow my journey!

Good vid. Question I have been having, what electrolyte drink do you recommend?

I use S-caps and Hanmer endurolytes, along with Hammer Fizz - as mentioned before
