Wow They’ve changed Kettering station a lot since the last time I was there. They’ve even extended the live wires from Bedford right up to Corby... Even Reading station has gone through a huge transformation. Awesome. Network rail are on the roll 🚂

The HSTs are largely gone already. The currently only operate 6 coach sets at peak time. I honestly would expect all of them to be gone by the time the government announces new Covid timetable cuts.

Thanks for that. I'd been wanting to see what it looked like now they've removed the coverings to make way for the wires. The naked beams are a bit of a sad sight but how awesome to see it wired at last.

Yes they are! Although all the VP185s have all gone, the MTUs are still operating in peak hours. Although, those too may now be going in May 2021 :(

Great as always. Bet some of your raw footage had some long takes waiting for those high speed passes to come through on both sides! 66 034 gets around - twice I’ve filmed that around the Greenwich area recently and I’ve seen it travel quite far north as well! See you’ve gone with the channel markers again - more or less stressful than last time?

Maybe soon you could capture the Class 360s in action as EMR are inheriting the Class 360/1s from Greater Anglia. And are to replace the Class 222 Meridian and Class 180 Adelante with the Class 810 AT300 which will be in service from 2023. What was in the tanks when 66114 and 66111 passed through Kettering Station, Nuclear waste or some corrosive substance. Great video by the way getting interesting seeing the electrification at Kettering now, I heard the rest of the MML will be completed by 2023. And do you think Thameslink will go as far as Corby or Market Harborough in the not too distant future, once overhead wires go as far as Market Harborough.

@@StarlifeStudios So as you may have noticed by my name, I am a music channel and originally back in 2017 I made songs out of sped up sounds (I deleted most of my stuff from back then) and I always had the idea to make a song just like that 3 years later. In addition I thought the sped up sound of trains bypassing at speed would make a great sound track when edited so I was hoping you could give me rights to use one of your videos to create the background sounds, I can credit you if you want.

Hi N1TH Music, I have read your question several times. To be honest, I’m not sure about how to answer that. It sounds really interesting and I assume you would need my raw recordings for the best quality which are around 10GB per video so that might not be realistic. I am happy for you to download this video from KZbin and use it in your productions as long as you state that the video was captured and recorded by StarlifeStudios Rail Videos and include the title & link of the video in the description.

Do you sometimes get jumpscares and gusts of wind when they go at that speed cause I did when i went somewhere where trains go at 200kmh. I guess you just need to get used to it

Yes! Although I’ve been around fast trains my entire life so it’s become very normal to me. Some horns still scare me though! ..but I guess that’s what they’re designed for 😉 The wind is a good one, you don’t notice it so much now because I’ve got a new microphone, but on some of my older videos it’s very obvious when the wind catches the camera. It also tends to be worse when it’s cold. Thanks for watching ⭐️.

Hi Ben, from what I remember, I think there were delays in London from earlier in the day (My Kettering video) which seemed to have a knock on effect. Not all of them are late, some of the HSTs are on-time or early 😃
